Mirabella V, the world's largest single-masted sailing yacht will soon be an impressive sight on Mediterranean coastlines. According to a news story on the official Mirabella website, the 245ft (75m) yacht is nearing completion in Portsmouth, England and will head for the Mediterranean as soon as she is handed over to her owners, hopefully by the end of March.

Her Mediterranean cruising programme in France and Italy includes visits to the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. And with her single mast towering 289ft (90m) into the sky, Mirabella V is certain to turn heads on the Cote d'Azur this summer.
